Network Engineer

INCONEK is a locally based network integration company focused on high end solutions since over 15 years. The company is presently looking for enthusiastic network engineers to join its technical team providing professional services its clients locally and regionally

Job Description

1. Integration and deployment of various advanced enterprise grade LAN/WAN solution networks.
2. Field deployment & configuration of enterprise grade network equipment such as high-end switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points and various other technologies/solutions as per industry standards.
3. Producing design and technical documentation (SoW, LLD, HLD, schematics, technical report) where required.
4. Deliver project excellence on customer sites by working with Project Managers.
5. Proactively keep up to date with new & emerging technologies.
6. You'll be expected to be flexible with working times & travel due to customer locations & downtime constraints.
7. Providing top-level support to various customers locally and regionally. This may include providing 24x7 coverage to support customers within an on-call rota.

Candidate profile

1. Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts & solutions including latest security best practices.
2. Demonstrate a passion for customers & delivering service excellence.
3. Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (e.g QoS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP etc), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, TustSec).
4. Firewall and SD-WAN implementation and migration experience would be an advantage.
5. Experienced with technology from leading vendors such as Cisco Systems, Fortinet, PaloAlto, Ruckus, Aruba etc.
6. Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
7. Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
8. Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. At least 2 years' experience in a similar position.
10. CCNA level is mandatory; CCNP, NSE certification would be an advantage.
11. A relevant Bachelor degree would be an advantage.
