Merchandiser

Objective: Candidate will be working closely with the Management and Marketing Team to achieve commercial goals and contribute in the growth of the company.

Duties:

• To follow up sample orders and coordinate requests of customers with respective departments.

• To communicate with customers to specify their requirements during the pre-production and production process, and be the linking pin between customers and production until order delivery.

• To follow up sales with existing customers, and initiate business opportunities with new clients and ensure smooth progress of orders.

• Should demonstrates personal commitment in serving the customer.

• Managing all the back office for a portfolio of customers.

• Understanding customer requirements in terms of product quality / service and ensuring that production facilities are fully briefed accordingly.

• Managing the critical path and meeting deadlines

• Ensures that company interest is ahead of team or personal interest.

• Updating production development team on different sample requirements

Profile:

• Young, between 21-30 years of age with strong leadership skill.
• HSC with excellent Mathematics and/or Diploma in Merchandising or related fields.
• 3 years’ experience in textile/ knitwear as Merchandiser will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills
• IT literate
