Maintenance Engineer- Aqua Science and Technology Ltd

Aqua Science and Technology Ltd is recruiting for the post of Maintenance Engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to details
• Computer Literate
• Fluent in English and French (both written and verbal)
• Be a responsible and self-motivated person
• Ability to work under pressure

ROLE SUMMARY

• Manage and update existing database of equipment.
• Perform site surveys to update existing database with details from new installations and equipment.
• Draft a maintenance schedule for the different components of each installation as per suppliers’ recommendations and instructions.
• Monitor maintenance schedule and relay information to Sales Representative to send quotations for upcoming preventive maintenance interventions.
• Monitor ETA for orders on approved quotations relative to preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with maintenance department to plan for upcoming interventions.
• Coordinate and relay information between maintenance department and Sales representative relative to preventive maintenance.
• Check that interventions are done as planned, report any discrepancy to maintenance department and Sales representative.
• Update database with dates and information from completed interventions.
• Prepare and propose innovative Maintenance solutions / ideas to Management.
• Keep all information relative to client and equipment files strictly confidential.
• Liaise with sales and maintenance dept for smooth handing over.
• Verification of jobs done and cross check list of materials purchased vs used on site.
• Prepare Operations and Maintenance manual and as made drawings for all installations.
• Ensure Operations and maintenance manual, as made drawing, commissioning and handing over sheets are done of all installations are documented and kept in a shared folder.
• Work on tenders.
