Kitchen Technician

Maintain, repair, install and test equipment and systems throughout the facility to ensure safe and proper operation. Inspects equipment and systems to identify hazards and defects and takes immediate corrective/preventive actions to ensure the highest level of safety at the hotel.

Duties;

1. Responds to Guests’ requests throughout the facility to make the necessary repairs and interventions; including the use of work tracking software and devices.

2. Performs preventive maintenance and tests diverse systems, subsystems and equipment including disassembly, replacement, cleaning, and repair.

3. Maintains all fixtures throughout the facility by replacing items and/or making necessary repairs/replacements to the fixtures on a routine and regular basis

4. Identifies malfunctioning equipment and hazards using a variety of testing devices.

Experience;

• 2 years Experience in the Maintenance Department of a large hotel, hospital, ship, and/or restaurant complex or similar
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
