In order to carry out well his/her duties the Junior Sales / Channel Developer is required to have good knowledge about the Food & Beverage Range and a good understanding of the market as well as the organisation’s aims and objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Sales strategies to achieve Sales objectives
- Coordinating sales orders by:
- Ensuring product visibility and availability
- Ensuring proper SKU is available in specific Channel
- Ensuring Stock rotation principles (FIFO) are understood and followed by clients
- Introducing, promoting new products and monitoring penetration of all company’s product through:
- Sampling / demonstration / technical sheets (Customer)
- Posting of advertising materials at client’s place/tasting (Consumers)
- Building and maintaining Customer relationship and satisfaction through:
- Regular Visits to customers as per planning set
- Quick handling and follow up of customer requests
- Investigate, document, report all complaints and coordinate them with respective departments
- Active listening of customers
- Maintain and update customer database
- Credit follow-up & Cash Collection
- Close follow up on Commercial Agreements and ensure all inquiries are processed effectively and within an acceptable time limit
- Close monitoring of stocks and order planning
- Identify opportunities of creating further demand on products by providing recommended solutions as per Company’s standards
- Developing prospect as per company standards
- Performs all administrative procedures to create new clients
- Update database and communicate to all concerned
- Perform all activities (as mentioned above) to achieve sales objectives
- Giving structured feedbacks / reports to Sales & Marketing Manager on competitors activities / positioning on the trade
- Continuously educating clients on benefits of merchandising ex: efficient use on equipment, positioning, POS materials
- Implement & control the good running of promotional activities on trade (Bar storming)
- Responsible of representing the organization at the time of celebration events, trade displays, exhibitions, and other promotional events
- Initiate any other appropriated responsibility that may be assigned by the Management
- Available for exceptional deliveries
