IT Officer

Rogers Capital is hiring an IT Officer to join its IT team.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining, supporting, and securing the information technology infrastructure within the organisation. The job responsibilities encompass a wide range of technical tasks, from providing technical support to end-users to ensuring the integrity and availability of IT systems and data. 

Your role:

•Provide technical assistance to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues promptly, and ensure positive user experiences.

•Ensure the optimal performance of endpoints, keep applications updated for security and functionality, and conduct User Acceptance Testing for new releases.

•Maintain an accurate IT asset register, tracking inventory, and assist in procurement activities.

•Update and manage the active directory to reflect organizational changes and assist with user account management.

•Support the IT needs of new employees during onboarding and ensuring secure offboarding procedures for departing employees.

•Assist in the deployment of new applications and version releases, and provide assistance during IT project planning and execution.

•Ensure IT standards are met across branches, addressing IT-related issues, and ensuring operational IT equipment.

•Provide technical support during special events and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure smooth IT operations.

Your profile:

•Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

•Proven experience in providing IT support and system maintenance.

•Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and network systems.

•Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

•Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team environment.

•Ability to work on shift and during odd hours when required.
