We are in search of an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and dynamic candidate to join our Safety and Health Team in two of our resorts located on the magnificent sunset coast of Mauritius namely Sugar Beach Resort and La Pirogue Resort.
We are in search of an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and dynamic candidate to join our Safety and Health Team in two of our resorts located on the magnificent sunset coast of Mauritius namely Sugar Beach Resort and La Pirogue Resort.
Profile:
- Holder of a degree in Occupational Safety & Health
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the hotel industry will be an advantage
- Outgoing personality, with excellent communication skills
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office tools
- Familiar with occupational safety and health legislations and other local legislations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce health and safety policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement controls.
- Provide employee training on safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits.
- Collaborate with management and employees on safety initiatives.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
- Support employee health and wellness initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and trends for continuous improvement.
