Job Description:

AVA Realty is currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Lead to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems for our commercial clients. In this pivotal role, the HVAC Service Lead will collaborate closely with repair and installation technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining clear communication with clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and efficiently to service calls, dispatching technicians as needed.
• Develop and manage servicing and maintenance programs to optimize system performance.
• Order and track materials required for proposed work and scheduled maintenance.
• Review, edit, and accurately price service reports.
• Approve weekly timesheets for technicians.
• Prepare quotations for recommended work and maintenance contracts.
• Communicate and provide updates to customers, vendors, and project managers.
• Monitor technicians' work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Organize training and ongoing support for installation teams.
• Provide technical support to HVAC technicians as needed.
• Ensure technicians' licenses and certifications are up to date.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Maintain adherence to service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Ensure optimal efficiency of HVAC equipment, meeting energy KPIs as agreed with the energy manager.

Requirements:

• Higher National Diploma/NC4 or equivalent.
• Over 7 years of experience in HVAC, with a preference for field technician experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the commercial heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning market.
• Strong understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Reliable, motivated, and customer-oriented.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read diagrams and work plans accurately.
• Willingness to respond to out-of-hours calls if required.
