HR Intern

As an HR Intern, you will support the HR team in the day-to-day operation of the Mauritian office. Depending on performance, more projects or responsibilities could be granted. Your responsibilities will include (without being limited to):

• Recruitment: you will be trained on the recruitment process including contacting candidates for tests, planning and carrying out tests.
• Training & Development: you will be trained on the organisation of training sessions (whether internal or external) including HRDC refund procedures where applicable.
• Respond to employee queries, or re-direct them through the proper channel to solve their issues.

As an HR intern, you will also be assigned a Project to design and implement within the HR department. This project will be defined together with your Direct-Line Manager.

• Fresh University Graduate (including those waiting for their results) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Sociology.
• Fluency in English and French (oral and written) is compulsory. Additional language(s) will be an advantage.
• Pleasant and outgoing personality to interface with all levels of staff, while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, autonomous and self-driven.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) will be a definite advantage.
• Must be eligible for YEP or ISDP schemes.
