Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will ensure that all reports- monthly ,quarterly and yearly reports are submitted in an accurate and timely manner, He/She must ensure that all returns to authorities/statuory returns are submitted within deadlines. He/She will ensure good accounting practices

• Prepare, interpret and submit Management Accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis within the prescribed timeframe and the relevant parties to which this information is appropriate.
• Ensure all tasks allocated to the Finance team are submitted in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure that all reconciliations linked to such function are preformed in a timely manner
• Ensure statutory reporting are in compliance with international accounting standards
• Ensure management accounts are prepared in the prescribed format are used by the Hotel Industry
• Ensure implementation and compliance to internal controls.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of budgets and budgetary controls.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as required.
• Ensure good working relationship with internal and external auditors.
• Ensure good working relationship with stakeholders
• Ensure  proper filing records.
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and fund planning
• Liaise with and provide information to external auditors, consultants,  advisors, financial   regulatory bodies.
• Any other cognate duties as may be assigned.
• Comply with employment guidance contained in the Company’s and Omnicane’s Employee Handbook.
• Comply with the Company’s and Omnicane’s Code of Ethics, Policies, Rules and Regulations.
• Comply with Omnicane Group Financial reporting policies and guidelines.
• Comply with safety and health requirements prevailing on the premises and guiding principles of all certifications obtained.
• Carry out all tasks by minimising or eliminating any adverse impact to the environment whenever possible.
•   A minimum of 3 years  Experience in Hotel Industry is a must.
