Finance Officer
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process transactions and maintain accounting records
- Process AR/ AP invoices/ PO/ Cash book etc
- Deal with purchase and sales ledger invoices and arranging payments
- Reconcile GL accounts and sub-ledgers monthly
- Knowledge of VAT
- Maintain petty cash records and provide for disbursements as and when
- Manage a proper filing of invoices
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Assist in group reporting
- Assist in the audit exercise and provide appropriate documents/reports
- Assist with any other duties of the finance department
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Good communication and planning skills
- Strong analytical skills and attentive to details
- Sharp time management skills
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data, able to handle time-sensitive tasks
- Working hours: 8h00 to 17h00 (Mon-Fri)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- HSC/Diploma/Degree in Accounting 2+ years experience
- Experience in accounting software (Sage Evolution / Pastel) would be a definite advantage
- Computer literate
