E-Commerce Merchant Underwriter

Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, involved in online payments and credit card processing is looking for an E-Commerce Merchant Underwriter.

Main responsibilities:

• Evaluate ecommerce merchant applications for compliance with international card schemes rules, AML/CFT regulations and international / local law in accordance with due diligence standards.
• Evaluate the goods and services sold by the merchant and genuineness of his website / business
• Evaluate the fulfillment process used by the merchant
• Collect KYC-related documentation from an acquainted client, assist him throughout the process
• Filing MID applications in partnering banks
• Monitor the merchants’ performance and operations
• In cooperation with Risk Department, perform fraud prevention checks and take part in the Risk mitigation procedures.

 Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or law

Candidate profile:

• Experience at a similar position will be considered an asset
• High computer proficiency - Windows, Microsoft Office / Word / Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Applications
• A working experience with banks, card schemes, regulators or payment processors in one or more of the below mentioned fields will be given strong consideration:

• fraud detection and monitoring of card transactions or international financial operations.

      o  AML checks and operations

      o e-commerce merchant underwriting procedures

     o chargeback and fraud mitigation.

• Due to multiple time zones of our partners, flexibility in regards to working hours is required.
