POSITION TYPE: Permanent

Position Overview:

As a Data Analyst at SMOLLAN, you will be responsible for ensuring credibility of data collected by identifying errors and omissions and subsequently rectifying them. In addition, to compile and interpret data through reporting, providing insights and ensure management of database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in management of the structured schedule for all necessary reporting
  • Screen operational reporting needs to ensure quality
  • Generate and analyses reports to identify exceptions
  • Assist with feedback on reporting when necessary
  • Assist with Time in Motion studies where required and consolidating and analyze data
  • Ensure operational reporting analysis, when required
  • Ensure records are kept regarding data collected for future reference
  • Compile and submit reports for auditing purposes
  • Communicate feedback to relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain relevant databases
  • Ensure audits are conducted correctly and track errors in data collected
  • Ensure regular meetings are held to discuss systems and processes
  • Suggest and communicate recommended enhancements
  • Collaborate with systems users and developers to ensure problems are resolved
  • Ensure records are kept regarding assurance checks
  • Compile and submit reports for auditing purposes and implement suggestions
  • Track daily activity of teams conducting audits
  • Calculate incentive for relevant parties based on threshold for qualification
  • Provide ongoing information regarding relevant policies, processes and procedures
  • Capture project-specific data and ensure quality and accuracy
  • Provide information regarding any changes to application on mobility tool that could affect audits

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2years Plus working experience as Data Analyst
  • Minimum of Tertiary Level Qualification
  • Reporting Skills
  • Communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Customer service skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organisational skills
  • Interpersonal skills
