Job Profile
Rey & Lenferna Ltd is recruiting a Country Manager for its subsidiary company SARLU who will plan, delegate, direct and control the day-to-day operations and activities in Madagascar. This in-country position is open to internal candidates in the first instance and eventually externally.
Role and Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain and manage operational and financial controls to ensure the operations are running efficiently, effectively, profitably and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders – Rey & Lenferna management, authorities, clients and end users.
- Ensure proper coordination and communication between SARLU operations and Head office support units; provide support to other departments within the company as and when required.
- Regularly communicate with and report to the Chief Operating Officer – M&E Commercial Solutions on key administrative, budgeting, progress and maintenance elements; propose solutions to issues for discussion and approval by Chief Operating Officer – M&E Commercial Solutions.
- Lead & collaborate with the commercial and marketing departments to achieve the company's commercial objectives.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Develop sales objectives, including sales volume, cost of sales, product profitability; accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams; ensure sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the company’s long-term strategic objectives.
- Develop new product lines, services in line with the Strategic Plan of the company.
- Build and maintain long-lasting strong relationships with suppliers, brand managers and customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Oversee all sales functions of the company to ensure high quality sales, service and delivery.
- Plan procurement needs and ensure optimum inventory and consignment follow-up.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, development and counselling to team members and oversee the performance department based on the strategic plan and objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Management or any other relevant field – (Master’s degree in project management or business administration will be an advantage).
- At least 5 years’ experience in Management of a Team.
- Execution of Tenders and project in Mauritius and/or international level will be an advantage.
