Our client in the financial industry is looking for an Associate Human Resources (Business Analyst).
Job Summary
The Associate Human Resources (Business Analyst) will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to HR. This position plays a vital role in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting HR processes and data. Key competencies include data analysis, relationship management, HR expertise, communication and HR systems. The incumbent will be responsible to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• To prepare reporting and data analysis on a regular basis;
• To collate and ensure correctness of information received from HR clusters for BOM reporting, for Board reporting and committees;
• To prepare reports for various committees;
• To be actively involved in preparation of HR budget;
• To compile reports of data results and translate information into visuals for presentation to Heads of Departments, Board / Committees;
• To analyse and interpret data across HR functions;
• Using data collected through HR system, the HR associate will recommend changes;
• Optimizing and implementing new data processes and systems;
• Collaborating with stakeholders to determine reporting needs;
• Maintaining databases, analyzing data, ensuring data integrity, and running queries;
• Developing, reviewing and implementing new processes and systems for efficient HR management;
• To monitor incidents reports to ensure they are appropriately recorded with a comprehensive root cause analysis and action tracking for the HR Department;
• To collect incident data, escalate to the appropriate stakeholders, challenge and investigate incidents appropriately;
• To challenge where appropriate the adequacy of mitigating controls;
• Assist the reporting line and perform other duties as assigned;
Qualifications
Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR management, or similar.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position or in Human Resource
• Banking experience will be a plus
• Knowledge in internal controls and practices will be an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and the ability to create charts, spreadsheets, and presentations
• Experience in analyzing HRMS metrics and improving processes
• Experience using Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) or any other HR system
• Working knowledge within multiple human resource disciplines
• Data Driven Management Aptitude
• Critical thinking and result oriented
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work accurately within timescales
• Strong understanding and experience using technology and automation solutions governing human resources.
