Job Summary: The Assistant Restaurant Manager will assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. They will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and maximizing profitability while upholding the company's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Restaurant Manager in planning and organizing restaurant activities to meet sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  2. Supervise restaurant staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
  4. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  6. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menu offerings and specials.
  7. Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses, and prepare reports as required.
  8. Implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
  10. Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a supervisory role in the food and beverage industry.
  2. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  4. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications and restaurant management software.
