We are looking for an Admin Support to join our Support department.

 

Key Responsibilities

Support

  • Pull out documents for all detained shipments
  • Advise customers about missing documents and required information needed for smooth clearance
  • Advise customers regarding their amount to be paid for clearance via phone/SMS and email
  • Keep a track of the pending approvals and missing documents from customers
  • Submit approved files to Customs Clearance team
  • Submit regular statistics and reports to your Direct reporting line or Management.
  • Ensure Caging of Shipments is done on FedEx systems
  • Keep FedEx systems updated while working with a file
  • Liaise with Customs clearance team for any request received from Customs
  • Execute Mass mailings to inform customers about the arrival of their shipments
  • Open case to liaise with origin for Missing information pertaining to clearance of any shipment
  • Keep your Direct reporting line informed at all times of any matters impeding smooth work operations.

Customer Service

  • Respond to customers’ interactions in a professional and timely manner, provide support, help and advice and achieve positive resolutions.
  • Ensure that no false promises are made to clients and per se, that all promises made are being met.
  • Handle all requests, claims and complaints; resolve issues in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Provides customers with a level of service which will achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty.
  • Communicates courteously by telephone, email, letter and face-to-face and constantly develop and maintains effective relationships with clients and any other authorities linked to the courier service.

 Admin

  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers for the IT and Maintenance Department
  • Maintain inventory of assets and purchase any IT equipment needed to ensure no disruption in the daily operations of Rennel activities
  • Follow up repairs with the different suppliers
  • Aid the IT coordinator for development, implementation testing of any project within Rennel Limited
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Keep your Direct reporting line informed at all times of any matters impeding smooth work operations.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
  • Data Entry on various systems

Qualifications, Profile and Experience

  • HSC Holder with Mathematics, Accounting, Business or Computer studies
  • Good technical knowledge of customs practice and procedures would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Courier Service would be an advantage
  • Dynamic, Proactive, highly motivated and Customer Service oriented.
  • Ready to work under pressure and able to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in Purchasing, IT or Administration will be and advantage
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience
