We are looking for an Accounts clerk with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or ACCA part qualified.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data.
- Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Prepare and post accounting documents such as invoices, requisitions, vouchers, expense accounts and related operating reports.
Post invoices and receipts to appropriate ledgers and review reconciliation exercises - File and maintain accounting records and reports
- Prepare and mail bills or statements and prepare lists of outstanding bills payable
- Prepare payment for creditors and perform supplier statement reconciliations
- Post banking and journal entries and perform bank reconciliation
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports
- Prepare and file monthly returns for VAT and TDS
- Filing of documents
- Any other tasks as assigned by the finance team.
What we are looking for:
- 2 - 3 years working experience in a similar post.
- Well-versed with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Strong personality with excellent communication skills in both English and French.
- Candidate should be proactive, resourceful and demonstrate professionalism.
- Strong team player.
- Quality and detailed oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet monthly deadlines.
