WHO WE ARE

ETT is a specialist engineering and manufacturing company which started in Richards Bay, South Africa, providing products and services throughout Africa.  The company has grown to offer a globally based presence with carefully selected products and services across all major continents. The global business is built on a distributor and dealer network offering professional support and excellent customer service. ETT is driven by a leadership team committed to developing high quality, innovative specialised support equipment for construction, mining, smelting and industrial applications.

FOUNDED IN 1995

ETT was founded by Richard Everingham and Leon Bothma, who worked together at a construction and forestry equipment manufacturer in Richards Bay, South Africa, where they headed up the Research and Development Engineering and Prototype Manufacturing functions respectively.

After a few years it became clear that something special could be created by leveraging the combination of Richard’s industry knowledge and machine design expertise and Leon’s mastery of specialized manufacturing processes.

And ETT was created - a specialist engineering company with a leadership team wholly committed to the mission ahead.
