Sales Representative - Traditional Trade
- Retain present customers (build up relationship with clients)
- Manage client portfolio: monitor sales figures per Brand on a yearly and monthly basis, identify client’s needs,
- Listing of actual and new item lines within product portfolio. Focus on Strategic Brands and Game Changers.
- Monitor debtors, credit terms and limits within a sound risk assessment.
- Identify and seize opportunities available for development
- Monitor merchandising: visibility and respect of clauses as per deal and trade visits reports from Management.
- Plan, organise, implement end-of-month and one-offs promotions followed by appropriate debrief & Reporting according to company’s standards and guidelines
- Maintain profitability by using expenses efficiently and monitoring expenses (discount, advertising/donation, vehicle and petrol usage)
- Provide excellent customer service:
- Ensure that all customers are being visited as per scheduled route
- Be pro-active to potential problems
- Find solutions to handle clients’ complaints
- Report market activity to management.
- Ensure good stock keeping in lorry
- Assist Inventory Team during stock count
- Ensure daily cash lodgment are done
