PNL is looking for a Senior Purchasing & Logistics Clerk for its Supply Chain Department.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Assist in the daily operational tasks related to Inbound logistics operations.
- Act as the point of contact with suppliers for all aspects of purchasing, including Sales
- Forecasts, Order Processing, Shipment follow-up and Stock Optimisation.
- Adhere to monthly ordering process.
- Prepare purchase orders and communicate to stakeholders.
- Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for reordering purposes.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve pending matters.
- Coordinate, assign and review the work of the team.
- Plan, organize and oversee logistics work.
- Supervise team on a daily basis.
- Ensure completion of tasks assigned to Team.
- Perform any cognate duties as may be assigned by Manager and/or Supervisor.
PROFILE:
- Higher School Certificate.
- At least five years of work experience in purchasing and logistics fields.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel formulas.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and to handle pressure effectively.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to create and maintain harmonious relationships with various levels of employees.
