Our client is seeking to recruit a dynamic Restaurant Manager who will report to the Food and Beverages Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-opening responsibilities: Menu design, equipment and dining room setup, follow-up on fit-out and operating permits, etc.
- Responsible for the overall operation and performance of the outlet.
- Leading and training of staff for a smooth service to customers.
- Welcome and greet customers, make them feel at ease and ascertain their needs and wants with a view to satisfying them.
- Preparing reports for management such as sales reports, customer satisfaction reports, attendance reports, etc.
- Organize proper rostering among staff for running the operation in a smooth way.
- Participate in the elaboration of special events within the premises of the food outlet in order to promote sales while at the same time introducing quality entertainment to customers.
- Manage point-of-sale processes, cash & card sales reconciliations, etc.
- Any other cognate duties.
Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as Manager in a commercial food retail environment.
- Preferably holder of a Higher National Diploma or degree in hospitality Management.
- Knowledge of cost control, food cost management, menu engineering, P&L analysis.
- Computer literate – Microsoft tools / POS / internet.
- People Management skills within a restaurant.
- Holder of a valid Food handler’s certificate.
- Holder of a clean certificate of character & a valid driving license.
- Good analytical skills

- Available to work odd hours / on Sundays / on public holidays.
- Be able to join by latest end of June 2024.
- For pre-opening of the restaurant the Restaurant Manager will work from Monday to Friday.
- After pre-opening it will be Monday to Sunday on a roster basis.
