Junior Compliance Analyst (Temporary)

Our global client, specialising in international financial services, has a number of opportunities available for Junior Compliance temps to join team in Mauritius. The role would be for an 11 month fixed term contract. Candidates must already possess the right to live and work in Mauritius

Qualifications required:

• High School Certificate
• Fluent in English

Skills and experience required:

• Up to 2 years Compliance or Financial Crime experience
• Good communication skills (both written & spoken)
• Good analytical skills & problem solving skills
• Ability to mutli-task and work to strict deadlines
• Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute discretion

Job description:

• Assisting with queries from senior members of the Compliance team
• Assisting with the review of client on-boarding practices & documentation
• Assisting with data analytics to ensure monitoring and surveillance requirements are undertaken
• Compliance validation testing and spot checks
• Identifying data quality issues and making recommendations on suggested changes
• Helping with regulatory projects including gap analysis between regulation and policy/practice
