Reporting to the Manager – IT Applications and Team Leader – IT Application Support, the job incumbent will be responsible to troubleshoot and provide a functional/technical fix to business.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide, Troubleshoot and resolve business queries with a Functional/Technical solution
- Work with IT colleagues across the Group to develop technology strategy in the context of the business strategy
- Document code and implement code quality tools
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing project tasks on schedule
- Ensure IT application support process disciplines (solution delivery, QA, etc.) and standards are established, effectively managed and performed
- Any other cognate duties as and when required
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent in IT and related area
- At least 2-3 years professional exposure in Core Banking field, including Finacle platform
- Sound knowledge on Finacle Setups, tables and debugging
- Sound knowledge on UNIX Shell Scripting, Finacle Scripting, SQL and PL/SQL
- Knowledge on Connect24, Finacle Integrator, e-banking and/or other interfaces is a must
- Strong planning and organisation skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Must be willing to learn and take ownership of various other applications pertaining to organisation needs
