As our Graphic Designer (Junior), you will be part of a dynamic and talented team providing top of the line design, which includes, but is not limited to, print and digital collateral, and event graphics. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of design, hierarchy, problem solving, layout, typography, and substantial verbal and written communication skills. This person must also have the ability to multitask and be detail oriented.

Reporting to Digital Graphic Designer

Creative Design

•Gathers information and materials needed from designated individuals to accomplish tasks.

•Becomes familiar with brand guidelines, images, components and overall brand identity, as well as the guidelines of our partner companies.

•Works within existing brand guidelines and designs to version out print collateral, image-based e-mails, and digital assets for our website and social media channels.

•Develops creative concepts from a creative brief and brings them to life within Company’s brand standards.

•Prepares designs, illustrations and prototyping according to instructions of Digital Graphic Designer

•Develops and presents conceptual design comps for approval.

•Prepares final production ready files for both print and web.

•Research and develop materials for internal and external communication.

•Provide support in preparing corporate presentation materials such as PowerPoint presentation and other applicable template.

•Provide basic copywriting support for internal communication materials.

•Edit and upload images to websites and other platform (such as mailchimp etc)

•Other duties as assigned related to communication department scope of work.

Administration 

•Proper management of folders for each project

Qualifications & Certifications: 

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or in any related course.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years work experience.

Skills & Attributes          

• A strong knowledge in design softwares such as Adobe illustrator, adobe photshop and adobe indesign is compulsory. 

•Experience in editorial design is a plus advantage.

•Knowledge in photography and video shooting/editing will be a plus advantage.

•Accuracy and attention to details

•Ability to lead visual projects from concept to completion.

•Fluent in French, English and Creole

•Good relational skills, team spirit and open-minded approach

•Adaptive and flexible person, able to multi-task
