Communication Lead

AVA is an integrated group of companies specializing in medical devices, the health services sector, and several other activities.

As our Communication Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with our goals and values. From internal communications to external messaging, you will lay a pivotal role in shaping our narrative and fostering meaningful connections with our audience. As an integral part of our dynamic communication team, you will collaborate closely with our creative team to ensure that the set communication objectives are met.

Reporting to Head of Marketing and Communication

Internal Communication

• Develop and author a variety of engaging internal and executive communications, including presentations, announcements, newsletters and blog posts to be delivered across a variety of communications channels.

•Regularly evaluate the efficiency of the internal channels, making continuous improvements.

•Provide copywriting support to the creative team for all visual design development.

•Ensuring that all communications reach relevant internal stakeholders in a time-efficient manner.

External Communication

•Provide support to the Head of Marketing and Communications in developing and implements corporate communication strategies.

•Prepare the company annual reports collaboratively with the creative team and other stakeholders

•Create content for press releases, interviews/speeches, publireportage and others.

•Manage content on websites and social media.

•Prepare corporate presentations.

•Ensure that content production is aligned with corporate brand guidelines.

•Track and report on the progress and success of our content and communications campaigns.

•Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.

Events

•Plan, organise and manage corporate events in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Communication.

Administration/Management      

•Oversee the workflow and work assignment of the creative team to ensure effective collaboration among team members and consistent quality work.

•Media monitoring.

•Build and manage a bank of media collaterals Follow up with suppliers

•Manage Communication budget alongside Head of Marketing and Communication.

•Attend and contribute to individual and team meetings

•Proper management of folders for each project

Qualifications & Certifications: 

•Bachelor degree in Marketing and/or Communication

Experience

•Minimum 7 years work experience.

Skills & Attributes          

•Good Copywriting and PR skills

•Excellent managerial skills

•Accountability is a key requisite.

•Confident communicator and presenter

•Outstanding project management and time management skills

•A wide degree of creativity and latitude

•Good knowledge and understanding of current trends in communication field

•Very Fluent in English and French
