Cellar Operator
Duties:
- To fill and empty barrels/ISO tanks as and when needed
- Repair barrels if needed and clean barrels and tanks
- Ensure cleanliness of working area and all equipment
- Transfer materials and equipment to designated area as required
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cellar operations
- Locate and move barrels, pallets and crates with forklift as and when needed
- Ensure that the forklift is in excellent condition
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 -2 years of working experience in similar position
- Minimum knowledge in wood working
- Must have a valid driving license – Car or Forklift
- Good level of fitness, hardworking with a can-do attitude
- Strong data entry and numeracy skills
- Ability to manoeuvre packages of any weight above 35kgs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
- Able to work in a warehouse environment which may be slick, humid, cold and hot
