Rennel Limited is recruiting a Business Development Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of new business in both Courier and Freight sector by sourcing new clients through different channels or upselling to existing customers.
- Build fruitful relations with our new/prospective customers and maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
- Co-visit customers/suppliers/airlines with the Business Development Coordinator.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and meet with customers to demonstrate and explain features of products and services.
- Ensure that targets and goals are met and exceeded on a consistent basis.
- Ensure to be in line with the pricelist provided and that margins are respected.
- Follow up with clients regarding statement of accounts and ensure that all accounts are settled in a timely manner.
- Promptly respond to quote request and queries from our customers/agents.
- Liaise regularly with the Finance department to follow up regarding any pending payments or claims received from clients as per specific portfolio.
- Support and participate in marketing promotion and activities such as seminars, trade shows, and marketing events as and when required.
- Be familiar and always updated with all products and services offered by the company.
- Reviewing clients' feedback; suggest necessary changes that can be implemented.
- Attend networking events as and when required, to research and connect with prospective clients.
Qualifications
- HSC and Certificate in Sales and/or Marketing or Fresh Graduates.
- Dynamic, motivated, pleasant and extrovert personality.
- Customer service oriented with an efficient and businesslike approach.
- Fully computer literate and highly proficient in written and spoken English and French.
- Grooming with a professional and neat appearance is essential.
- Excellent administration, interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a high level of integrity.
- Able to work independently and/or in team in a dynamic work environment.
- Able to effectively handle multiple priorities, organise workload and meet deadlines.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
