The Assistant Boutique Manager supervises the day-to-day store operations and stands as an ambassador of the brand. She plays a vital role in influencing the brand's presence as well as its expansion in the region.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for merchandising and managing day-to-day operations of the store.
- Leading and driving sales to achieve targets
- Meeting customer service standards
- Supervising stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
- Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximise profits
- Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
- Using information technology to record sales figures and for data analysis and forward planning
- Ensures standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
- Resolves health and safety, legal and security issues
- Responds to customer complaints and comments
- Organises special promotions, displays and events
- Updates colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
- Maintains awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doing
- Initiates changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local and international market
Candidate REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Retail Management / Hospitality Management
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as an Assistant Boutique Manager or Boutique Supervisor in 5* resort environment.
- Experience in Island is desirable
- Have excellent communication and leadership skills.
- He or She will be highly motivated, have a passion for providing a luxury experience for all our guests, be solution oriented and be able to inspire creativity at all levels.
- Previous food and beverage experience at a leadership level is essential.
