The job incumbent will be responsible for the acceptance of incoming and outgoing shipments. The role of the Air Operations Officer is also to inform and guide shippers, consignees, and agents to ensure an efficient follow-up and after sales service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist KPI Report on a monthly basis
- To make booking with airlines
- Invoice clients or overseas agents correctly as per agreed quotation
- Follow up of Custom Clearance and delivery process with Air Clearing Team
- Using any related software to client and available tracking web site to track shipment status and inform client where needed
- Ensure customers receive their invoices and supporting docs by email after shipment completion or prior
- Invoicing to Air Mauritius / other agents
- Follow inbound shipments with agent and inform clients accordingly
- Any other cognate duties as may be required
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum HSC
- Computer Literate
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipment

- Good communication skills (Fluent in English & French)

- Can do attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
