Our client is looking for an Administrative and Training Officer to support the training activities of its Training Academy.

Job Summary:

The Administrative and Training Officer will play a crucial support role in the facilitation and enhancement of training programs, assisting in the management, design, development, coordination, and execution of these initiatives. His responsibilities include aiding in the assessment of training effectiveness, suggesting modifications based on feedback and performance data to optimize learning outcomes. This position demands a collaborative effort to identify new training needs and apply innovative educational techniques, ensuring programs are aligned with organizational objectives and individual development plans. By working closely with clients, the Training Coordinator will help customize training efforts to meet the unique requirements of different roles, fostering an environment of ongoing learning and professional advancement.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the annual learning and development needs assessment.
  • Supports the development of learning and development programs and objectives.
  • Helps in obtaining and/or developing effective learning materials using various media.
  • Assists in planning, organizing, and facilitating employee development and learning events, including the procurement of supplies.
  • Participates in follow-up studies of all completed training to help evaluate and measure results.
  • Collaborates effectively as a team member with other management and general staff members.
  • Aids in ensuring adherence to the organization’s procedures.
  • Supports compliance efforts with the Quality Assurance mechanisms of the training function.
  • Assists in ensuring compliance with MQA requirements for registered Training Institutions.
  • Helps ensure adherence to the MQA Quality Assurance Framework, including managing statistics and evaluation reports.
  • Supports compliance efforts with HRDC requirements.
  • Contributes to the planning and development of the training calendar and assists in marketing it to a broad market and audience.
  • Aids in the development and implementation of a comprehensive communication strategy for training and development programs.
  • Assists in managing training venue bookings and ensuring the availability of all relevant administrative information.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 3 years of relevant working experience  

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia learning platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research learning options and alternatives.
  • Ability to design and implement effective learning and development.
