Duties & Responsibilities:
- Input key data of financial transactions in database on a daily basis.
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the supervisor/manager.
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
- Perform duties in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Qualification & Competencies:
- High school degree with Mathematics and Accounting.
- ACCA Level 1 will be an advantage.
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable clerk.
- Familiar with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Well verse in Microsoft Office, databases and accounting software.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and well organized.
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks.
- Strong personality with excellent communication skills in both English and French.
- Should be team player, creative, proactive, resourceful and demonstrate professionalism.
- Willingness for continuous learning and career development.
