Our client, a key player in the hospitality sector, is looking for a Market Research Analyst.
Our client, a key player in the hospitality sector, is looking for a Market Research Analyst.
Reporting to the Statistics and Sales Analysis Manager, the successful candidate will perform Market Research and Guest Profiling analytics in the field of travel and tourism.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure proper data governance and data quality control as per the department’s guidelines.
- Compile and analyze statistical data.
- Design, produce reports and dashboards on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Markets and Guests.
- Assist in the maintenance of a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Design and analyze Guest Profile Surveys within our hotels.
Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Statistics or Business Analytics or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a Statistics-related or Analytics-related position.
Candidate Profile:
- Be multi-disciplined (Statistics/Analytics/Information Technology);
- Show strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
- Excellent practical experience with Microsoft Excel application, including advanced formulas and Pivot Tables;
- Good knowledge of Statistical techniques used in surveys and analytics;
- Be committed to learning new applications and embracing innovative ideas;
- Be aware of the latest market trends and implementation of best practices in the field;
Knowledge in the following areas will be considered an added advantage:
- Microsoft Business Intelligence Platform (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI);
- T-SQL Querying on Microsoft SQL Server;
- Knowledge of Power Pivot Modeling in Microsoft Excel.
