Our client, a service provider in the Agronomy sector, is looking for a Business Development and Training Manager.
Our client, a service provider in the Agronomy sector, is looking for a Business Development and Training Manager.
Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will liaise with local and international clients to determine training and development needs and suggest best options.
Main responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the sales and marketing of training projects with local and international clients via regular site visits and interactions with clients, publicity, brochures, presentations, website, e-newsletters, etc.
- Maintain long-term business relationships and secure new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement a CRM system.
- Work with the appropriate providers to propose result-oriented programmes that take into account client goals and behavioural changes expected on the workplace using a competency-based training model and aligned to the requirements of each client.
- Coordinate training projects from conception, through implementation to evaluation.
- Facilitate training workshops.
- Develop evaluation strategies to measure course outcomes in the short-medium- and long-term. Propose supportive solutions (refresher courses, coaching, etc.) where applicable and in line with the evaluation outcome.
- Provide Training Needs Analysis services for clients to ascertain their needs on a short, medium and long-term basis.
- Design a KPI driven approach to manage the deliverables on a short, medium and long-term basis.
- Present on a quarterly basis, key priorities and highlight leading and lagging measures as well as support required.
- Introduce a work integrated learning (WIL) programs for graduates.
Qualification:
- Degree in Management / Marketing / Commerce / Human Resources (Master or Bachelor) or similar.
- 5 years of experience in similar position.
Candidate profile:
- Familiarity with modern marketing tools and techniques including social media platforms and CRM systems
- Consultative sales skills in B2B context
- Practical knowledge of Competency Based Training
- Knowledge of the sugarcane industry
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent team worker
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Fully IT conversant
- Good business acumen
- Evidence of facilitation of workshops
- Willing to visit clients abroad
