To operate, monitor, maintain, and trouble-shoot the wastewater treatment facility

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintains serviceable condition of STP 1, 2 & 4, by planning daily, weekly and monthly work schedule as per recommendations by the suppliers; investigating related issues; conducting tests; resolving problems.

  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

  • Establishes service by studying system requirements; preparing orders for approval, following approved orders until delivery; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.

  • Monitors treated water quality, conducting and/or ordering test as and when required and ensure irrigation water is as per standard.

  • Maintains rapport with Management by examining issues; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.

  • Leads proactive measures for efficient operations of the plants and irrigation system.

  • Documents services, processes, procedures and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in informal training of other technicians, offering support to Centre Management Team and Management.

  • Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed maintains Management confidence by keeping service information confidential.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • A High School Diploma

  • NTC 2 or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sewage Treatment plant is necessary

  • Wastewater Process troubleshooting, Electric Troubleshooting, Analyzing Information

  •  Quality Focus

  •  Results Driven

  •  Basic IT skills
