Our client, in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will ensure the day-to-day operations of overall accounting and financial activities.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure and maintain sound financial systems and internal accounting controls and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and submission of monthly/periodic financial and management reports and Consolidated Quarterly Accounts. Assist in monitoring of monthly actual results against the budget.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for external reporting (annual financial statements).
• Assist in the preparation of Budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure proposals. Provide assistance to the auditors (external and internal) and handle matters raised. Treasury Management.
• Handling VAT return Filling
• Liaise with team member of the Accounting department for ensuring proper recording of information & financial data and organise work schedules and priorities in order to meet critical deadlines.
• Perform other accounting and finance related duties or tasks as assigned from time to time.

Qualification:

• Preferable with ACCA, Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field.
• Good and sound knowledge in accounting and internal control system.
