Our Client, a major player in the gaming industry, is looking for a General Manager.

 

Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager will be expected to:

  • Plan, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the Company.
  • Review and maintain systems and procedures for maximum efficiency.

  • Manage staff for optimum performance.

  • Enhance Company image.

  • Apply strategic planning to determine Company and Unit objectives.

  • Hire and supervise senior staff.

  • Keep abreast of all changes in the legislation and take measures to implement such changes

  • Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximise operating efficiency while minimising risks.

  • Coordinate financial and budget activities.

  • Apply all Anti Money Laundering measures as needed.

 

Required skills and experience:

  • 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent or relevant professional experience.

  • Knowledge of best management principles and practices.

  • Knowledge of strategic planning.

  • Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures. 

  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices.

  • Knowledge of office administration and procurement procedures.

  • Proficient in MS Office software applications.

  • Experience in the gaming sector will be an advantage.

  • Valid driving licence.
