The Nursery Manager will oversee the operation of the day nursery to the highest standards, ensuring that the best possible environment and care are provided for young children.

Main Duties:

• To be responsible for and to oversee the day to day management, staffing, organisation and smooth running of the Nursery.
• To be responsible at all times for high standards of care and education of children between 3 months to three years in accordance with statutory requirements.
• To be accountable and responsible for day to day financial systems directly relating to the Day Nursery provision.
• Ensure that adequate equipment, toys and other pedagogical items are available to meet the needs of the children and programme devise
• To ensure effective communication between the Day Care staff.
• Encourage children's creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play.
• Create & design programme to stimulate each child’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual, language and creative development.
• To ensure effective communication between the Day Care staff.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Development
• A minimum of 3 years work experience.
• Fully computer literate.
• Dynamic, Proactive individual.
• Excellent interpersonal, administration and communication skills.
• Ability to operate with the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
