The potential candidate will assist the company's IS Manager in a range of IT related functions.
Main Responsibilities
- Basic maintenance of Windows Servers
- Work in collaboration with the Systems Administrator on server and networking projects/ issues
- Assist with the integration and implementation of technical updates
- Responsible for the creation, update and deactivation of Total cards
- Ensure the configuration and upholding of the Electronic Payment Terminals (EPTs)
- Maintain customer files and records
- Provide support to end-users
- Configure and assist in the daily backup of the company’s data
- Configure new users on “Active Directory (AD)” and “Exchange”
- Recognise and devise process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a recognised qualification in IT
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in Windows environments such as Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
- Knowledge of router and switch administration, installation and configuration of software and hardware
- Ability to work under pressure and detail-oriented
- Proven customer support experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiastic team player, but also capable of working independently
