To process purchasing transactions for equipment, materials, supplies, capital goods, and services.
Coordinate procurement activities as well as providing administrative support to the Supply Chain Management (SCM)
team.
Preferred Qualification:
- Post- secondary education is preferred (e.g a bachelor's degree or college diploma in a business field such as Finance or Supply Chain)
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 2 years; previous working experience in procurement is usually a must.
- Supply chain work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is considered an asset.
Brief Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requisitions / orders within purchasing authority.
- Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
- Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages and insurance.
- Potential Suppliers prequalification information, and supplier registration forms.
- Prepare agenda and distribute minutes for the SCM team’s weekly meeting.
- Generate Purchase Orders and issue to Suppliers/Vendors as required.
- Follow up on deliveries and monitor open purchase orders status.
- Prepare and maintain purchasing records and price lists.
- Prepare relevant monthly reports related to Supply Chain.
- Follow up on custom clearance and liaise with the agreed custom agents.
- Maintain logistics cost tracking database for all domestic and international shipments.
