DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive instructions from Superiors about the daily planning and organization.
• Take over charge of bars from outgoing barman, checking accuracy of stock, following the handling over procedures establish by the hotel.
• Make appropriate requisition for stock replenishment to guarantee supplies.
• Verify quantity and quality of new stock received from storekeeper to ensure conformity with requisition list.
• Perform the mise-en-place and cleanliness of the bar areas, equipment, furniture, display bottles, including preparing fruits for cocktails and preparing tea and coffee service.
• Provide a punctual, fast and regular service as per the Hotel Quality Standard.
• Make sure that all rules concerning ordering and billing are respected.
• Uses properly all the equipment and materials made available to the bar and participates in the stock taking.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Holds at least a School Certificate.
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in the kitchen department.
• Knowledge in culinary functions.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work flexible hours.
