Our client is seeking to recruit a Storekeeper / Timekeeper.
Responsibilities
Responsible for compiling, verifying, posting and reporting on employee pay data and manages hours clocked. Creates and distributes pay in accordance with hours worked and corrects any pay errors;
Support the team on site with a variety of tasks;
Determines items and quantities of stock to be purchased and maintained;
Inspects items as to quality and quantity against freight documents;
Coordinate the operation of fuel, electric or hand operated equipment by handing over and receiving the equipment from each team member;
Estimates cost and assigns account codes to items purchased;
Maintains catalogues of available stock items when required;
Attends meetings as required by Finance and Human Resources;
Ensure Time and Attendance records are submitted to every employee within established deadlines;
Maintain manual records;
Prepare and validate corrected timesheets, as necessary;
Perform filing for the Store;
Perform any cognate duties as assigned by Management.
Profile
Minimum School Certificate level;
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position;
Experience in the construction industry would be beneficial;
Process and Detailed Oriented;
Basic store management and practices;
Supervisory principles and practices;
Skills in appropriate use of goods and materials in store room;
Keen to continuously learn, develop and improve; professional and personally;
Be able to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure;
Computer literate.
