Planner / Scheduler- Supply Chain

A Supply Chain Planner is responsible for managing inventory, forecasting demand, and coordinating logistics to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

• Forecasting Demand: Analyze market trends and historical data to predict future inventory needs and create supply plans that align with production schedules.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize storage costs while ensuring product availability to meet customer demand.
• Procurement Planning: Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, manage purchasing processes, and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to integrate supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
• Performance Analysis: Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory turnover, lead times, and delivery performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Process Improvement: Implement new systems and processes to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs, while managing risks associated with supply chain operations.
