A Design and Tendering Engineer is responsible for preparing technical designs, cost estimates, and tender documents to secure projects while ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Tender Preparation: Analyze client requirements, prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Design Solutions: Develop and design customized solutions for clients, considering technical specifications, cost-effectiveness, and feasibility.
  • Cost Estimation: Perform accurate cost estimations for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment, to support competitive tender submissions.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to the sales team during the pre-sales phase, including product selection, system design, and troubleshooting.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and discuss technical aspects of the proposals.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with the procurement, project management, and installation teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects from design to delivery.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and proposals comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance the quality and competitiveness of proposals.
