The Factory Operator - Mechanical, will perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Perform mechanical maintenance work on equipment, including disassembly, parts replacement, adjustment, and machine restart.
  • Diagnose mechanical breakdowns and determine appropriate corrective actions to ensure optimal equipment availability.
  • Communicate the results of interventions and report any anomalies detected to the supervisor, while suggesting improvement solutions.
  • Ensure that each round of preventive maintenance is completed.
  • Assist in the inventory of spare parts and report restocking needs or stock issues.
  • Ensure that all interventions strictly follow safety rules, making sure the team wears personal protective equipment (PPE) and complies with safety procedures.
Profile
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent organisational skills including planning, prioritising and meeting deadlines.
  • Team spirit and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Holder of NC3 in Mechanical Engineering / Brevet d’Etudes Professionnelles (BEP) in Mechanics or an alternative equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in pipe fitting and welding will be an advantage.
  • At least two (2) years’ relevant work experience.
