Responsible for monitoring and performing maintenance operations, constructions and repairs activities and establishes work schedules and prioritizes activities of maintenance FMs and ensures that work is completed as directed.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serves as a maintenance lead FM, including establishing work schedules, prioritizing and assigning work, determining workloads, training FM in work procedures and inspecting work of assigned FM.
Performs skilled maintenance activities varying with area of assignment, including performing basic activities such as electrical, plumbing and carpentry work
Inspects the work of maintenance FMs and contractors to ensure that work meets specifications and standards; inspects facilities and grounds to ensure that the hotel is being properly maintained and provides a safe environment for FMs and guests.
Inventories and may order supplies, equipment and materials
Answers complaints and questions
Assists in the tracking of expenditures and maintains logs and records of work performed and materials used be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, brand standards and code of conduct, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained

QUALITIES:

Qualifications: Form 5 and minimum administrative & technical expertise
Experience: 1-3 years experience within maintenance
Personal Qualities: Good knowledge of the maintenance functions.
