The Events Coordinator plans, executes, and coordinates social, corporate, and wedding events. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and creativity. The incumbent supports the Senior Marketing & Events Executive to ensure smooth event delivery and clear communication.
Event Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of events, including weddings, social gatherings, birthday parties, community and corporate events.
- Manage the calendar of events.
- Manage all logistical aspects of events, including pre & post event tasks.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate event timelines, schedules, and production plans to guarantee smooth execution.
- Handle vendor relationships, negotiations, and contracts to ensure high-quality services within budgetary constraints.
- Supervise event setup and teardown to maintain a professional and engaging atmosphere.
- Assist the Senior Marketing & Events Executive in her duties.
Monthly reporting:
- Prepare detailed monthly reports summarising event outcomes, communication effectiveness, and engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with the Senior Marketing & Event Executive to analyse report data and identify areas for enhancement.
Education and Qualifications :
- Bachelors's degree in marketing/ Event management, or a related field.
Relevant Experience :
- Proven experience (3 years minimum) in event planning, coordination and execution, in a similar position.
