Insurance Manager/Operations Manager/Principal Officer
Arch Global Consult Ltd is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients which is in the process of being licensed as an Insurance Manager. Once established, the company will provide specialised insurance management and administrative services to international clients. We are seeking a Professional to help set up and oversee operations, compliance, and client portfolios.

Job Description
The role holder is responsible for the following key objectives:
1. Developing and implementing company policies.
2. Embedding company policies in the operational processes and procedures.
3. Developing and managing a competent team.
4. Attainment of the companies' agreed financial targets.
5. Ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities:
Participates in the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plans.
• Manages the implementation of the company’s objectives by providing leadership and facilitating work processes to achieve high performance standards.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensures compliance with all regulations affecting the business.
• Developing and implementing the company’s Risk Management Framework.
• Maintain and update the risk register every quarter.
• Works in close coordination with the Director to develop business strategy and articulate action plans to drive business growth and quality performance standards.
• Manage relationships with both reinsurers and cedants.
• Place business in line with company guidelines and regulatory procedures.
• Undertakes internal and external training initiatives to expand the technical skills of underwriters and clients
• Maintain a training register, which should be updated monthly.
• Guides the underwriters to achieve the agreed premium targets.
• Coordinates all corporate activities to ensure efficient utilization of company resources and opportunities in the marketplace.
• Provides leadership on the development of policies and operating procedures by ensuring adherence to best practice.
• Establishes a framework guiding all underwriting operations to ensure alignment with the corporate strategy.
• Provides technical guidance on matters related to reinsurance coverage, placement, and documentation.
• Leads the strategic and operational planning meetings at regular intervals.
• Provides leadership in monitoring risk and exposure on all agreements signed by the company.
Ensures that all premiums are collected and paid to reinsurers within the agreed premium payment terms.
• Observes best practices and KYC checks on all business partners.
• Maintain and update the compliance register on a quarterly and monthly basis.
• Provides leadership on the management of the policy and claims administration function to facilitate lead generation, effective renewal process, dependable filing, and retrieval of information.
• Ensured that the company develops an effective system of reinsurance technical accounting.
• Provides leadership on the automation of processes and reporting.
• Monitors the performance of all business partners, including cedants, reinsurers, and general vendors.
Minimum Requirements:
• Mature professional with leadership and good communication skills.
• Previous working experience in a broking, insurance, or reinsurance environment .
