ABC Coach Works Ltd is looking for an Import & Procurement Officer to join its team
Your Role
· Liaise with local and foreign suppliers for ordering.
· Gather information on parts to be ordered in a timely manner.
· Prepare and send purchase orders to ensure correct and timely delivery.
· Liaise with freight agencies to ensure products are collected from suppliers and reach local destination on-time.
· Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs duties, and licensing requirements.
· Resolve any discrepancies or delays during the import process.
· Monitor payment to suppliers with accounting department.
· Prepare and submit monthly procurement report for HOD.
· Work in collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure an excellent customer experience.
· Maintain accurate procurement and import records for audit and compliance purposes.
· Prepare reports on purchasing trends, supplier performance, and import activities.
· Coordinate with the finance department for supplier payments and budget monitoring
Your Profile
· Degree or Diploma in Procurement and Supply Management.
· At least 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar position.
· Experience in procurement, importation and warehousing would be a plus.
· Hands-on experience in customs, shipping, freight and imports procedures is desirable.
· Possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
· Good leadership skills and proactive.
· Has the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
