Landscaping Manager

The Landscaping Manager will ensure that all green spaces, gardens and external common areas are well maintained, attractive contributing to the overall appeal of the estate.

 

Key Responsibilities Landscaping Manager:

  • Oversee the daily maintenance of lawns gardens, trees, flower beds and outdoor common areas.
  • Ensure that all landscaping areas meet high aesthetic and safety standards.
  • Ensure outdoor areas are always clean, well-groomed and visually for residents and clients.
  • Coordinate, supervise and evaluate landscaping subcontractors on site.
  • Supervise gardeners and landscaping staff.
  • Ensure that all landscaping work is completed according to agreed schedules, contracts and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with service level agreement (SLA’s)
  • Inspect Landscaped areas to identify problems and ensure quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of landscaping activities, contractor performance, budgets and incidents.
  • Prepare weekly or monthly landscaping status report for the General Manager/Operation Manager.
  • Report and follow up on any issues such as pest infections, plant diseases, irrigation system failure or safety hazards.
  • Monitor landscaping-related costs and ensure that they remain within the approved budget.
  • Review and validate invoices from sub-contractors against completed work and service contracts.
  • Ensure that subcontractors follow safe work practices and use approved products and equipment.
  • Provide training on landscaping techniques and equipment use.
  • Respond promptly to landscaping related requests or complaints from residents.
  • Ensure landscaping practices comply with local environment regulations.
  • Carry out any other cognate duties as may be assigned by Management.

Salary Range: Negotiable depending upon Experience

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Landscape Architecture /Horticulture.
  • 8-10 years of minimum experience in Landscaping, grounds maintenance or garden design.
